Go insane watching someone achieve 999,999 points on NES Tetris [Video]
Tetris is one of my all-time favorite games, a fact that doesn’t make me terribly unique. Of late Tetris has been my game of choice, both on the iPad and iPhone.
Tetris never gets old whether it’s played on an Android device, iPhone, iPad, video game console or through a web browser.
If you’ve played Tetris on a NES watching the video below may cause your heart rate to increase, make you feel nauteous and/or result in you being committed.
In the video Tetris master Matt Buco does something only three other people in the world has done according to Twin Galaxies, achieve the highest score possible on NES Tetris (999,999 points.
Buco says this of his accomplishment:
“Warning: do not attempt unless you want to spend years trying! This was recorded on 1/2/12 and I am the 4th person to “officially” get the max score for NES.”
With that statement Buco’s either genuinely concerned that others may spend years trying to match his score, or he’s trying to protect himself so he and the other three individuals who’ve achieved 999,999 points will be the only ones in a very exclusive club.
