In Case You Forgot, Here’s How Memory Works
One’s memory is important to every aspect of life, enhancing our existence.
In addition to allowing us to remember personal moments (good and bad), they also are the source of an individual’s ability to store, retain, and recall information.
Despite the appearance that a memory encompasses only a single event, they are in fact a complex construction of multiple, smaller, moments combined together to create a memorable event.
Unfortunately memories do not last forever with loss of memory occurring for a variety of reasons: aging, disease, trauma, intoxication, certain medications and more.
