Record-scratching Robot DJ Should Stick to His Day Job [Video]

Robots can do a lot of things humans can’t, but one thing they cannot do even remotely competently is scratch records while djaying.

The video below is of an industrial robotic arm programmed to scratch records.  I know what you’re thinking, great there’s another job a robot is going to take from a human, but you’d be wrong.

The robot isn’t at all good.  In fact, he’s horrible.

Take a look at the video, where it appears the robot has no clue that it’s playing a record until after the 1:30 mark.  If you can make it through the entire thing, let us know what you think of the robot’s “excellent” DJ skills in the comments section below!
