Your favorite NFL team may be worth more than a small nation

Following a lockout where NFL owners and players, billionaires and millionaires respectively, argued over amounts of money that would make the average fan’s head spin, football is back and so are the huge profits to teams and paychecks to players.

The infographic below from Mint, takes Forbes’ valuation of each NFL team, showing how the teams compare to the rankings of countries based on GDP:

“Despite not having the international market-share that soccer enjoys, many NFL teams have a valuation that tops $1 billion or more, making them more valuable than the entire economies of many small sovereign states.”
